PreU Updates for SMK Munshi Abdullah

It has been a long time since this blog was last updated due to certain consequences. The Student Representative Council has had their schedule tightly arranged, so below are the few activities that involved the Pre U students lately.

5/5/11 - Colloquium Day
Presentation was held sharp at 12.30pm. Students were divided into different groups so that presentations could be carried out at different venues simultaneously, to ensure colloquium was conducted smoothly and efficiently.

9/5/11 - 12/5/11- Orientation Week for The Lower Sixth Formers

Lower Sixth Formers for year 2011 are made up of students from various selected schools such as

1. SMK Munshi Abdullah, 
2. SMK Tun Mutahir, 
3. SMK Ayer Keroh , 
4. SMK Tinggi St. David, 
5. SMK Bukit Baru, 
6. SMK Datuk Hj. Talib Karim,
7. SMK Bukit Rambai, 
8. SMK Durian Tunggal.

17/5/11 - Teacher's Day Celebration

Teacher's Day was held on 17/5/11. With the help of the School Prefects, the celebration was indeed a success.

18/5/11 - 27/5/11 - Mid Term Examination

The Mid term Examination was held for 10 days. Throughout this period, lessons were stopped temporarily and students were allowed to do revision in the library during free periods.

28/5/11 & 30/5/11 - 1/6/11 - Extra Class For Upper Sixth Formers

During the holidays, four days were allocated for extra classes to be conducted. Throughout the extra classes, attendance was satisfactory.

Message to all MPP Members:

1. Mini Assemblies 

Ever since the lower sixth formers joined us, our mini assemblies have gone out of our hands. Students hardly followed out instructions especially on days where we do not have our microphone prepared. So pals, please take note of the schedule below and make sure the Mic is prepared daily to ensure smooth assemblies.

Also, I'll gather the monitors of the lower sixth formers and discuss with them regarding their responsibility to take good care of the discipline of students from respective classes. Class representatives, please inform your monitors to make sure your classmates queue up properly and keep quiet.

2. Morning 3-minute speech has been canceled

3-minute speech session has been canceled and this will be taken over by PA speech. We'll furnish you with more details on this PA speech as soon as information from Ms Heng and Mr Charlie reaches us.
